Cop de Xaloc

Cop de Xaloc is a renovation project in Sa Coma, a small mountain village in the west of Mallorca.

After many renovations throughout the years, the house had seven different interior levels and three different facade finishes - despite sharing a simple common structure.

Our interventions focused on demolishing illegal annexes and unifying the building finishes into a coherent house that opens itself towards the garden and valley.

The interiors were kept simple but generous. By sliding the windows into the wall, the kitchen can becomes part of the terrace.

A new entrance door is placed in the center of the south facade, merging what were two separate houses into a single one.
