The west plot is conceived as a park, while the east plot more as a neighbourhood. Together they offer introverted and extroverted spaces that welcome all characters and ages.

Vegetation is densified in places where the buildings themselves do not offer enough shade throughout the year to avoid overheating. Built and unbuilt environment work together to reach all-year comfort.

The gardens are arranged and dimensioned to provide thermal comfort through shading and evaporation in the summer. Aromatics freshen the constant sea breeze.

The vegetation unfolds itself in three layers that allow for all plants to be visible to the beholder. Simultaneusly, this approach encourages a floral diversity that can create a self-sustaining, multicultural ecology.
